Computer Information Systems Instructor

College of the Ouachitas in Malvern, AR is seeking qualified applicants for the position of CIS instructor. The successful candidate will teach courses, including some online courses, in Linux operating systems, Cisco systems, LAN / WAN technologies, PC and mobile device management, Installing and terminating network cabling, SQL/Java, and Cybersecurity.   The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. An Associate Degree with industry certification in Computer Science or a related field will be considered.  Other desired qualifications include: 1. A minimum of 2 years applicable experience in systems administration, network administration, and/or system support; 2. Possess one or more certifications in A+, Net+, Linux, MCP, MCSE, or CCNA.

Salary for this position is based on a competitive salary scale, and includes a full state benefits package.
