  • Free Tutoring Services available in the COTO Library Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30 ALL Subjects. Visit the COTO Library for more information or to schedule an appointment.

  • ATTENTION STUDENTS: Arrangements for payments, payment plans or financial aid must be made by 4:30pm on Friday, August 30. 

  • Normal parking will resume Monday, 26 August. Please observe all posted parking signs. If the main front lots are full, don’t forget that we have additional parking along the sides and back of the main building complex. 

  • All College of the Ouachitas offices will be closing at NOON on Friday, August 23rd, for a campus wide meeting. 

  • In an effort to relieve some of the “first week of class” confusion, College of the Ouachitas is trying something new.  Selected areas that are normally designated as Faculty/Staff Parking will be temporarily open to students. 

    As students arrive on campus Monday morning, they will be greeted by members of administration, faculty, and staff who will be acting as parking attendants.  COTO asks that everyone abide by the directions of these parking attendants so that traffic will flow smoothly and no one is late for class.

    Signs have been temporarily covered, once they are uncovered normal parking will resume.

  • Don't forget to get your ID Card made for Fall Semester. It is FREE until August 30 in the Library/Learning Resource Center. You must have your fall schedule to get your card.

  • There is still time to register for the Fall 2013 semester, but classes are filling up quickly!

    What to do:
    Go to Admissions & Financial Aid

    Visit Student Affairs and submit official transcripts - either High School with the date of graduation or GED scores or if transferring from another college, submit official College Transcript(s) from each college attended.

    Submit immunization records
    (TWO measles, ONE mumps, and ONE rubella)

    Submit placement scores from one of the following:
    (Scores must be dated within the past five years. Transfer students must have their transcript(s) evaluated to determine if placement tests are needed. COMPASS may be taken at COTO.)

    See Financial Aid Personnel for available financial aid and scholarship information.

    Visit the Business Office for payment options and class schedule.

    New Students attend Freshman Orientation on August 15 at 12:00pm.


  • Blues in the Schools will be held on the COTO campus on July 9-12, 1-3pm, for interested 7th-12th graders.
