  • BOOK BUY BACK for Summer classes will be AUGUST 1st in the bookstore from 9am till 6pm. Please bring student ID.

  • The Adult Education Department of College of the Ouachitas is pleased to announce its annual graduation ceremony for 70 students from the Malvern and Sheridan centers that will be receiving the Arkansas High School Diploma (GED).  The ceremony will be held at the Malvern Community Center located at 1800 Moline Street, Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.   The public is invited to attend. The Honorable Judge John Cole will be the commencement speaker.

    Graduates who wish to participate may still pick up caps and gowns on or before 2:00 p.m. on June 27, at 1735 E. Sullenberger in Malvern.  The cost of the cap and gown is $25.00.  Graduates who need financial assistance for this purchase should contact the Adult Education Office at 332-5002.

  • College of the Ouachitas recently announced the President’s and Dean’s List for the Spring 2013 semester.  Students on the President’s List have earned 12 or more credit hours in college level courses and achieved a 4.0 grade point average for the semester.  Students named to the Dean’s List have earned 12 or more credit hours in college level courses and achieved a 3.50 grade point average for the semester.  


  • The first disbursement of summer financial aid refunds is scheduled for Friday, June 14th.  Checks may be picked up at the Business Office from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Friday. They will also be available June 17th -21st from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. You must have your student I.D and Drivers License in order to pick up your check. The second disbursement is scheduled for Friday, July 12th.

  • Summer 2013 student, faculty, and staff information has been uploaded into our new emergency notification system (Blackboard Connect).  A test message was sent out today. This system is how you will be notified of campus emergencies and closings. If you did not receive the message please go to the following links for instructions to setup your account.

  • Due to the LPN Entrance Exam being given, there will be no Compass test given on June 14, 2013.

  • Textbook buyback will be May 8th & 9th from 9:00am till 6:00pm in the Bookstore. Please have your student ID and all CD's DVD's and supplemental materials purchased with your textbooks.
